Jackery prices change often. They move with model refreshes, retailer promotions, bundle contents and seasonal sales, so any price printed on a page like this goes stale quickly. This page doesn't quote prices. It explains how to judge a price, where Jackery products are sold, when discounts tend to appear, and which of our guides goes deeper. Always confirm current prices, specs and policies on the official Jackery site before you buy.
The short version
- Compare by price per watt-hour (Wh), not sticker price. It's the fairest way to compare capacity across models and retailers.
- Buy from an authorized seller. That means Jackery's own store, its official storefronts on major marketplaces, or a retailer Jackery lists. This protects your warranty and return rights.
- Discounts are common, but timing is uncertain. Sales cluster around big shopping events, but no one outside the company can promise when or how deep.
- Don't pay for capacity or output you won't use. The cheapest option is the one that covers your actual needs. Our guide to choosing a power setup walks through that.
What you're actually paying for
A portable power station's price mostly reflects three things:
- Battery capacity (Wh): how much energy it stores. This is the main cost driver.
- Output (watts): how much the inverter can deliver at once. A higher rating lets you run bigger appliances but doesn't add runtime.
- Features and generation: battery chemistry, charging speed, solar input limits, app control, expandability and the number and type of ports. Newer versions of a model often change these, so check the spec sheet rather than assuming.
Solar panels are a separate cost unless you buy a kit. For model-by-model detail, see Jackery Models, Features & How They Work.
How to compare prices fairly
Divide the price by the capacity in watt-hours. The result is a cost per Wh you can compare across models and sellers.
As a purely hypothetical example of the arithmetic: a unit priced at $400 with 400 Wh works out to $1.00 per Wh. A unit at $900 with 1,000 Wh works out to $0.90 per Wh. These are not real Jackery prices, only an illustration of the method.
Keep a few caveats in mind:
- Price per Wh isn't the whole story. A cheap-per-Wh unit with too little output may not run your appliance at all.
- Usable capacity is lower than rated capacity. Inverter losses mean real-world runtime comes in under the headline number.
- Bundles muddy comparisons. Subtract the value of any included panels or accessories you wouldn't otherwise buy.
We rank current budget options this way in Cheapest Jackery Power Stations, and list the full lineup in the Jackery Price Guide.
Where to buy Jackery
Jackery products are sold through several channels. Availability and policies vary by region and change over time, so treat this table as a general framework and verify specifics.
| Channel | What to expect | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Jackery.com (official site) | Typically the widest model selection, plus the site's own promotions and bundles. | Current warranty terms, return window, shipping times and whether a promo code applies. |
| Amazon | Convenient, and listings often show coupons or limited-time pricing. | That the seller is Jackery's official storefront, not a third-party reseller, and whether the listing is for the exact model you want. |
| Costco | A smaller, rotating selection, often in set bundles. | Exactly what's in the bundle, the return policy, and how the price compares with Jackery.com for the same contents. |
| Other big-box and electronics retailers | Some carry select models in stores or online. | Whether the retailer is authorized and whether the model is current or older stock. |
For the warehouse-club angle, our Jackery at Costco guide covers which models show up and how to compare the deal against buying direct.
A note on unauthorized sellers
Marketplace listings from unknown sellers, or prices far below every other source, deserve caution. Warranty coverage may depend on buying from an authorized seller, and Jackery's own policy is the source of truth. Check it before relying on a deal from a seller you can't verify.
When discounts tend to appear
Jackery runs promotions throughout the year. Common patterns include:
- Major shopping events such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and sometimes spring and summer sales tied to camping season.
- Email or first-order codes offered through the official site.
- Bundles that add panels or accessories at a combined price.
- Retailer-specific pricing at Amazon, Costco and others, which may not match the official site.
These are patterns, not promises. A model you want may not be discounted at all during a given event, and a sale price isn't always lower than the regular price elsewhere. Our guides on current deals, codes and bundles and Black Friday timing go through how to decide whether to buy now or wait.
A practical rule: if you need backup power before storm season or ahead of a known outage risk, don't wait for a sale. A modest saving isn't worth being without power when you need it.
Solar kits versus the power station alone
If you want to recharge without the grid, you'll need panels. Buying a kit can be simpler, since the pieces are matched, but it isn't automatically cheaper than buying separately. Check that the panels' combined wattage fits the power station's solar input limit, and that the cables are included. Our solar generator kits buying guide breaks this down by model and budget.
Before you buy: a checklist
- List what you need to power and each device's wattage (usually printed on its label). Add up what would run at the same time.
- Estimate how long you need it to run, then compare that with the unit's capacity, allowing for losses.
- Calculate price per Wh for two or three candidates.
- Check at least two sellers for the same exact model and contents.
- Read the warranty and return terms on the official site.
- Confirm the product is right for medical or safety-critical use. If you depend on powered medical equipment, talk to your equipment provider or clinician. A portable power station should not be your only plan without their input.
Is Jackery the right brand for you?
Price is only part of the decision. Reliability, customer service and how Jackery compares with other brands matter just as much. We keep those discussions separate so you can read the evidence on its own terms:
- Jackery Reviews, Complaints & Trust looks at what is publicly reported about quality and support.
- Jackery vs Alternatives compares Jackery with other portable power brands so you can weigh price against features.
If you're still deciding whether you need a power station at all, Power Outages & Off-Grid Power covers the problem and the range of solutions.
